Photo Dump

Here's a crap-load of photos that probably deserve their own post. But I'll never go back and blog about stuff. Too daunting. So here's a semi catch up. In a weird order.
That one time my baby was so small in her blessing dress.

Blessing day. June 1, 2014. Austin gave Amelia a beautiful blessing. I jotted down some of my thoughts in her baby book afterward so she will know what was said.

Millie and Stewart meeting for the first time. They did NOT like each other.

 4th of July
Shauna visits with her adorable kids.

Austin lit smoke bombs in the back yard... they were a big hit.

Amelia being cute. Those middle fingers were her favorites for so long. Now she sucks on the first two. I miss the middle two.

We went up north for a Beecher/Evensen trip to Lagoon when Jessica and her family came to town from Oklahoma. Amelia got to meet her great-grandma Evensen. We had to pay a visit to Scheels (Austin's all-time favorite store). Poor Amelia had a fall because someone just HAD to prop her up on the fake skunk. That same someone likes to turn Amelia into a comic. Lagoon was awesome. I was surprised by how many rides I got to go on. Millie slept in her stroller so much that day. I think it was so hot and muggy that she was mostly in a hot/sleep coma. She was such a trooper that whole weekend as we dragged her all around town. Also, we ate at a new place up north--Cubby's. I'm obsessed. Please come to St. George.

We rushed back home to go on a camping trip in Pine Valley. It was perfect weather, and this was the ONLY picture I got of our campsite...from inside the tend waiting out a quick rain storm.

Baby girl turned 4th months that one time.

I just love this picture because A) small babies in the middle of big beds is just awesome, and B) my bed is actually made. This never happens. Someone teach me to be an adult.

Austin painted my parent's old porch swing and built an A-frame for it. I think my parents are still bitter we stole it. But it was just sitting gathering dust... These are Jessica's cute kids (Kaden, Ava, Katie). This picture is a big deal because Austin worked on getting Katie to like him their entire trip. This is the first time she didn't scream when he looked at her... let alone held her.

First time trying solids. Our pediatrician had us start at four months because Amelia was still in the low-weight bracket because she burns so many calories. That girl does not.stop.moving.

Cute bath picture and pants-head.

Sometimes I send Austin to the store to buy some new jammies. Sometimes he buys boy jammies. Sometimes our baby looks like a boy. A very petite boy.

Then I dress her up in a party dress to balance it out a little.

Girl turned 6 months. I'll probably do one of those 6-month posts. Just because she has hit SO many milestones. And I'm probably supposed to document them.

Yard progress! This is our yard before. There is also a deck (loose term of the word...) that runs behind the house on the left. We ripped out the sandbox because it was taking up precious lawn space.

Sand box ripped out, Austin dug trenches and installed a sprinkler system and drip lines.

Planting day. We spread bark along the fence-line, planted two trees, one poisonous bush (will be replacing), and a few other plants. Austin prepped the soil real good and laid sod. Our backyard makes me so happy now. Especially since our rock landscaping in the front yard is so gorgeous. I have yet to take a photo of the finished product. Oopsie.

Trying on a Halloween costume. And adorable picture with Grandpa.

Conference weekend. My dad had been saving his pennies unbeknownst to anyone and bought a fishing boat off KSL one weekend. He named her Miss Millie. It's such a cute little boat. I can't wait for next spring/summer. It's the perfect boat for Kolob. I want to lay out and read a book in the middle of that reservoir.

We were at Austin's parents for the second session of conference, and there's not a place for Amelia to nap. So Austin built this awesome fort for her. When she woke up, she rolled out, looked around, and crawled over. She seemed way pleased with herself and that fort.

Cute bum, and Katie visited and brought loads of adorable hand-me-downs from Becca and Matilda. Yay!

Got together with these girls for a lunch date. Fun to catch up.

Big sauce likes riding solo in the shopping cart.

And a quick house update. I finally got things on the walls.

How's that for 3-4 months-worth of blogging?
