February and March

Just a quick picture update of the last couple of months... mostly house pictures and a few randoms.

Darwin stole my Jazz hat I got for Christmas (didn't fit me quite right anyway), so he owed me a new one. We tried having a little photo shoot when I finally got mine. Most of the pictures were sooooo bad. Mainly because my boob kept getting squished in weird ways that made it look super freaky. Darwin thought that was pretty funny, and pretty soon he got the giggles. If you know my dad, once he gets the giggles, it's hard for him to stop. And it's hard to not get them yourself. Good times, pops.

Date night with my man. Parade of Homes, dinner, and a quick excursion to Gunlock (just because I've never been, and we felt like a drive).

Valentine's day roses. Pretty, pretty.

Kitchen pics of the ugly purple walls and the cabinets torn off.

Yay for new wall color and mounted, painted cabinets! So much better! Also, I had to snap a shot of the inside of the baby bottle cupboard. It made me so happy!

Some pics of Amelia Kate's bedroom. Still need to hang a few more things on the walls. And we have an actual rocking chair that will go in the corner... but it's done enough for me for now until I can move my body better.

Our new kitchen cart to add a bit more storage to our teeny, tiny kitchen. Again, still need to hang stuff on the walls, but we're getting there! Also, I know that one light is hanging lower than the other... it's on the "to-do" list.

Living room update! We finally have a functioning living room!!! Still, no stuff on the walls (except for Jesus of course)

Also, I'm in love with this marble contact paper I found. This is what the original coffee table looked like from Ikea. I painted mine gold and the bottom white. But the white was too stark. I'm loving the marble look (and it looks real!). This picture is terrible lighting. Much cuter in person...

VITTSJĂ– Nesting tables, set of 2 IKEA The table tops in tempered glass are stain resistant and easy to clean.

I won't go into our HOA horror stories right now... I don't have the energy. Plus it will put me in a cranky mood. And I already dumped a full bowl of cereal completely upside-down on myself this morning. So I can't take much more negative emotion today. But here's a fun little picture to show what our gorgeous front yard looks like now. Don't even get me started...

Lastly, get this baby outta me! Austin went running the other day on the Hurricane Canal Trail. I tagged along, hoping a nice walk/hike would maybe get some labor going. This was Monday... so obviously that didn't work. Wahhhh.

I even made dinner to entice her out. I haven't made real dinner in forever. Mostly due to our kitchen being in constant shambles. But also because it's harrrrrrd.
